but i guess that's what you get when you spend a couple of days watching and reading martha with all her cute valentine crafts. you think, yeah, i'll do that too! pattern? who needs a pattern, let's wing this puppy! it all started with a disappearing 9 patch and some applique hearts, and it has become a mess. i have not yet given up, but it does kind of have a deadline, doesn't it? i mean, red and pink hearts? kinda screams valentine's day, presidents' day? not so much...
of course, valentine's is really a kids kinda holiday. not that there's anything wrong with that, but i don't have any kids, sooooo.... not much of a market for making valentine cards and such. maybe some cookies? we'll see. better get back to work...
